The Research Capability Hub brings together research training opportunities from across the UK social science community. Register as a provider to make your courses, events and resources easier for researchers to find through a single national platform.

After registration, you can submit details of your training and capacity-building activities. The Hub team will review your information and work with you to make your provision discoverable through the platform’s search and filtering tools.

Who should register?

Register if your organisation delivers research training, professional development, methodological training or other capacity-building activities for social science researchers. This may include universities, learned societies, research centres, professional bodies, funders and specialist training providers.

Funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), the Hub is designed to strengthen research training and capacity building across the UK social sciences. It does not replace provider websites or registration systems. Instead, it helps researchers find relevant opportunities and directs them to the organisations that deliver them.

The July 2026 beta launch is the first stage of development. We will continue to improve search functionality, support better resource discovery and expand the range of organisations represented on the platform ahead of the full launch in September.
